Overview of the Great Wall of China

Among the many wonders of the modern world, few of them are also often spoken of the Great Wall of China. For this reason, it is sometimes known as the "largest cemetery of the Earth."

The state of the Great Wall of China at this stage of its history is poor, at best. Although some portions of the wall are maintained in good condition, near tourist centers, other parts of the wall had fallen into disrepair and had even been dismantled as a source of stone for the repair of homes. Only about 20 percent of the Great Wall today can be considered to be in good condition.

Although the merits of the Great Wall of China is relatively well known, it is a fact that is widely disputed: if you can see it from space. In recent years, it was concluded that one can indeed see the Great Wall from space with the naked eye, but it's not very visible, and you have to know where to look. But why see it from outer space?
